Mission

The Office of Research, Innovation and Commercialization (ORIC) at the University of Rasul is committed to fostering a vibrant, inclusive, and sustainable research ecosystem that promotes excellence in knowledge creation, innovation, and its practical application for societal and economic benefit. Aligned with the policies of the Higher Education Commission (HEC) Islamabad, ORIC strives to strengthen the university’s research capacity by supporting faculty, researchers, and students in conducting high-quality, impactful, and ethically sound research across diverse disciplines.
The mission of ORIC is to facilitate the translation of research into innovation and commercialization by providing strategic guidance, technical support, and access to national and international funding opportunities. It aims to build strong linkages with academia, industry, and global research organizations to enhance collaborative research and broaden the university’s research horizon.
With a focused commitment to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), ORIC endeavors to address pressing local and global challenges through interdisciplinary research and innovation. It also seeks to ensure that all research activities meet international standards of quality, integrity, and relevance.
Through continuous capacity building, promotion of intellectual property development, and encouragement of entrepreneurship, ORIC aspires to elevate the University of Rasul as a leading research-driven institution, contributing effectively to the knowledge economy and positioning itself competitively at both national and international levels.

• To provide technical assistance in securing research grants from national and international funding agencies.
