I am a dedicated linguist with over 15 years of academic and research experience. I hold an MA in English Literature, an MA in TEFL, an MPhil in Linguistics, and a PhD in English Linguistics. My doctoral research explored innovative writing styles of Pakistani Political memoirs while adopting corpus methodologies in English linguistics, contributing to advances in corpus-based and applied approaches. I have taught a wide range of courses at undergraduate and graduate levels, including functional linguistics, phonetics and phonology, corpus linguistics, morphology, and language teaching methods. My teaching philosophy emphasizes critical thinking, learner engagement, and the integration of educational technology to enhance language learning. As a member of academic boards and advisory committees, I contribute to shaping educational policy and practice. My core competencies include curriculum design, student mentoring, and innovative pedagogical techniques. I am committed to mentoring students and fostering an inclusive, research informed learning environment. I am driven by a vision to create dynamic and inclusive learning environments aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly promoting quality education and reducing inequalities. Research interests: corpus linguistics, sociolinguistics, language pedagogy, applied linguistics, and educational technology.
As an active researcher, I have published 11 articles in peer reviewed journals—primarily in corpus linguistics and applied linguistics—and presented my findings at international conferences. I have also organized multiple workshops on qualitative and quantitative research methods.
