Dr. Aman Ullah is an Associate Professor in the Department of Medical Laboratory Technology at the University of Rasul, Pakistan. He holds a PhD in Microbiology and has over two decades of experience in teaching, academic leadership, research, and laboratory sciences. Dr. Aman earned his BSc in Medical Laboratory Technology from Baqai Medical University, Karachi, followed by an MSc in Microbiology from the University of Karachi and an MPhil in Microbiology from Quaid-i-Azam University, Islamabad. He completed his PhD in Microbiology in 2020, with research conducted in collaboration with the University of Copenhagen, Denmark. He further expanded his international academic experience through a postdoctoral fellowship at the Slovak Medical University, Bratislava. Throughout his career, Dr. Aman has held several key academic and administrative positions, including Principal of Rehman College of Allied Health Sciences, Director at Khyber Medical University Institute of Health Sciences, Kohat, and Lecturer and Assistant Professor at Khyber Medical University. Prior to joining academia, he served as a Microbiologist in Pakistan's National Tuberculosis Control Program, contributing to disease surveillance, laboratory diagnostics, and public health initiatives. His research interests focus on the molecular epidemiology of Staphylococcus aureus, antimicrobial resistance, molecular characterization of bacterial pathogens, microbial genomics, and clinical microbiology. He has authored more than 20 peer-reviewed research publications in national and international journals, contributed to international book chapters, and actively collaborates with researchers from leading institutions worldwide. Dr. Aman is committed to excellence in teaching, research, and academic administration. His passion lies in mentoring future healthcare professionals, strengthening laboratory education, promoting interdisciplinary research, and advancing evidence-based practices that contribute to improving healthcare outcomes in Pakistan and beyond.
