Dr. Muzamal Hussain is an Assistant Professor of Mathematics and a distinguished researcher in Computational and Applied Mathematics. He is currently serving in the Department of Physical and Numerical Sciences, University of Rasul, Mandi Bahauddin, Pakistan. He received his Ph.D. in Computational Mathematics from Government College University Faisalabad (GCUF), Pakistan, in 2019. Dr. Hussain has established an internationally recognized research profile in computational mechanics, mathematical modeling, biomechanics, fluid mechanics, and nanotechnology. His research interests include computational mathematics, functionally graded materials (FGMs), carbon nanotube (CNT)-reinforced composite structures, vibration and buckling analysis, fluid and thermal sciences, mathematical biology, tumor growth modeling, cardiovascular disease modeling, cytoskeletal mechanics, microtubule mechanics, intermediate filament mechanics, actin filament mechanics, non-Newtonian fluid flow, magnetohydrodynamics (MHD), computational fluid dynamics (CFD), and statistical computing. He has authored more than 180 peer-reviewed research articles, numerous book chapters, and an international research monograph. His publications have received over 3,000 citations, reflecting the significant impact of his research in computational mechanics and applied mathematics. Dr. Hussain has been recognized among the Stanford/Elsevier World's Top 2% Scientists for three consecutive years (2023, 2024, and 2025). In recognition of this achievement, he received the Top 2% Scientist Award Certificate from the Higher Education Commission (HEC), Pakistan, presented by the HEC Chairman and the provincial Minister for Education on 15 June 2026. He serves as an active reviewer for numerous leading international journals and has completed more than 100 peer reviews for high-impact journals published by Elsevier, Springer Nature, Wiley, Taylor & Francis, MDPI, and other internationally renowned publishers. His expertise has contributed to maintaining high standards of scientific publishing in computational mathematics and engineering sciences. Throughout his academic career, Dr. Hussain has supervised undergraduate and postgraduate research students and has been actively involved in curriculum development, academic administration, and interdisciplinary research collaborations. He has presented his research at several international conferences and professional forums across Asia and the Middle East. His scholarly contributions continue to advance the fields of computational mathematics, engineering mechanics, mathematical biology, and nanotechnology through innovative theoretical developments and computational modeling techniques.
