Dr. Ijaz Naeem is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Biotechnology with expertise in Plant Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, Genetic Engineering, CRISPR/Cas Genome Editing, and Plant Tissue Culture. Dr Naeem earned his PhD in Biotechnology from the Institute of Biotechnology and Genetic Engineering (IBGE), The University of Agriculture, Peshawar, and completed his Postdoctoral Fellowship at Kansas State University, USA. Dr. Naeem teaches undergraduate and postgraduate courses in biotechnology and related disciplines, including plant biotechnology, molecular biology, genetic engineering, and plant tissue culture. He is actively involved in curriculum development, student supervision, laboratory management, and academic administration. He is the recipient of the HEC Indigenous PhD Fellowship and the International Research Support Initiative Program (IRSIP) awarded by the Higher Education Commission (HEC), Pakistan. Through his commitment to excellence in teaching and academic service, Dr. Naeem continues to contribute to the advancement of biotechnology education and the training of future scientists.
