Dr. Asadullah is currently serving as an Assistant Professor of Physics at the University of Rasul, Mandi Bahauddin, Pakistan. He holds a PhD in Applied Physics from Government College University, Lahore, specializing in laser-induced breakdown spectroscopy and plasma–material interactions. He has completed a postdoctoral research fellowship at Nazarbayev University, Kazakhstan, focusing on advanced materials and high-temperature thermophysics of refractory materials. He has also gained international research exposure through a research visit to Canada, where he worked in the Nobel Laureate laboratory of Prof. Dr. Donna Strickland, gaining experience in ultrafast laser systems and advanced photonics research. His research interests include laser–matter interaction, plasma physics, ultrafast laser spectroscopy, nanomaterials, and laser-based surface engineering. He has authored over 40 peer-reviewed journal articles in high-impact international journals and contributed 4 book chapters with Springer and Elsevier. His research has received more than 760 citations with an h-index of 15. He has worked at multiple national and international institutions including the University of Wah and other research centers. His current work integrates physics with environmental science, nanotechnology, bio sensing, and water purification applications. He actively supervises MPhil students and contributes to interdisciplinary research in advanced laser-based technologies.
