The Department of Physical & Numerical Sciences is dedicated to providing quality education and advancing knowledge in the disciplines of Mathematics, Physics, and Statistics. The BS Mathematics program at the University of Rasul is designed to produce graduates with strong analytical, computational, and problem-solving abilities that meet national and international academic and industry standards. In line with the Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan's revised BS Mathematics curriculum, the program integrates theoretical knowledge with applied mathematics, computational methods, research, internships, and capstone projects, enabling graduates to pursue diverse career pathways in academia, industry, government, and emerging technology sectors. At the national level, graduates can seek employment in higher education institutions, schools and colleges, research organizations, government departments, financial institutions, software and IT companies, telecommunications, data analytics firms, insurance companies, and industrial organizations. They are also well prepared for competitive examinations and careers in public sector organizations such as the Higher Education Commission (HEC), Pakistan Atomic Energy Commission (PAEC), SUPARCO, Pakistan Bureau of Statistics, State Bank of Pakistan, planning and development departments, and other public and private organizations requiring strong quantitative and analytical expertise. The program also provides a solid foundation for pursuing higher studies (MS, MPhil, and PhD) in Mathematics and related disciplines. At the international level, BS Mathematics graduates are well positioned for advanced studies and professional careers in universities, research institutes, multinational corporations, financial services, actuarial science, artificial intelligence, machine learning, data science, operations research, cybersecurity, scientific computing, engineering, and technology sectors.
