About
The Directorate of Student Affairs (DSA) is a student-centered unit of the University of Rasul , Mandi Baha Uddin dedicated to creating a vibrant, inclusive, safe and supportive campus environment. The Directorate facilitates students' personal, social and leadership development through meaningful engagement in co-curricular activities, student societies, sports, cultural and literary events, and other initiatives that enrich university life. The DSA serves as a bridge between students and the University administration, promoting a culture of respect, responsibility, discipline, wellbeing and belonging.
Purpose
To create a student-centered, inclusive and transformative campus environment that nurtures academic success, character building, leadership, wellbeing, responsible citizenship and employability. The Directorate aims to provide students with opportunities for personal growth, leadership, creativity, teamwork and community engagement, while ensuring accessible support and a positive university experience.
Responsibilities
• Facilitate student clubs, societies, sports and co-curricular activities.
•Organize orientation, cultural, literary and recreational programmes.
•Promote student participation, leadership, teamwork and volunteerism.
•Foster a vibrant, inclusive and positive campus environment.
• Facilitate guidance, counselling and student support services.
• Address student concerns, complaints and grievances through appropriate channels.
• Facilitate scholarships and financial assistance for deserving students.
• Promote inclusion, accessibility, wellbeing and a safe campus environment
• Develop leadership, communication, interpersonal and life skills.
•Promote career awareness, professional development and employability.
• Facilitate community service, civic engagement and social responsibility.
• Recognize and celebrate outstanding student achievements.
• Promote discipline, integrity, mutual respect and responsible conduct.
• Facilitate awareness and implementation of the University's Code of Conduct.
• Coordinate matters related to student discipline and residential life.
• Work with relevant University offices to ensure a safe, respectful and supportive campus experience.
