It is my honor to be entrusted by the Government of Punjab to be the Vice Chancellor of this auspicious institution named University of Rasul, Mandi Bahaud Din.The University of Rasul, Mandi Bahaud Din (UoR) had been established through an Act of the Provincial Assembly of Punjab in 2018 (Act XXIII of 2018) by upgrading the historical institution named "Government College of Technology Rasul", more commonly known as "GCT Rasul".
GCT Rasul, in turn, had its roots in the Government School of Engineering Rasul (GSE Rasul) which was established in 1912 as one of the first such institutions in the region. So, the UoR despite being established very recently has a rich history and enviable legacy of producing engineering professionals for more than a century (since 1912 AD).
